A gift well loved
"I purchased the Alpine Wooden watch box as a Christmas gift for my son, who has amassed a small collection of watches. He had been asking for one for several years, but it was only this past holiday season that I put in an effort to find one. He loved it! The watch box is beautiful and well-crafted. The image on the company's webpage does not do it justice. I also love that I was able to find such an elegant watch box at a Canadian company, rather than resorting to corporations such as Amazon. I also want to thank the company for the excellent packaging since the box needed to be shipped to me. I must admit, the packaging was so-well done that I did not open it for about two weeks, deciding whether I should just give the gift in its shipping box. Ultimately, I did open the shipping wrapping and took a moment to admire the box before re-wrapping it in holiday wrap. The wood finish is smooth, and has a silky feel. There is a lining between the box and glass lid, which opens and closes gently, and the compartment pillows are of excellent quality. I will definitely return to this shop for other gifts in the future."
