Seiko Prospex - Solar Dive Watch - Black Out

SNE599P1

3 Year Canadian Limited Warranty

This watch, in a classic diver’s style, showcases Seiko’s diving watch heritage, developed since 1965 when the brand created Japan’s first ever diver’s watch.

Under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass is a black dial, with bold indices coated in strong Lumibrite. With highly visible hands and indices to meet professional diving standards, this watch is suitable for both underwater excursions as well as on-land daily wear. This piece has a black unidirectional rotating bezel.

The all-black case design of this watch has been reconfigured to allow for its beautiful finishing to take centre stage. The technical advancement of the solar charging calibre of this watch allows for a particularly slim case design of only 11.3mm.
This in-house built Solar Diver is rechargeable in both natural and artificial light conditions. This watch is accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month whilst having a power reserve of 10 months on full charge.

Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Solar Powered Mechanism

A solar watch is a watch that operates by converting natural or artificial light energy into electrical energy. The solar cell unit located beneath the dial absorbs light energy, which is then converted into electrical energy. This electrical energy is stored in a rechargeable battery and used to power the watch’s movement.
