The subdial at 10 o'clock displays the hours, while the central minute hand and running seconds at 6 complete the layout. The inspiration behind this design dates back to railroad timekeeping, where it was necessary to have a clear view of all hands. This enables more precise readings, so you'll always know exactly what time it is.

The new Alpina Extreme Regulator is a modern adaptation of the classic Avalanche from 2005, this time with more manageable dimensions. Reducing the size from 48mm to 41mm makes it more comfortable and wearable for everyday occasions, otherwise keeping its high standards with 200 metres of water resistance. It has also been improved in colour palettes; now both the bracelet and rubber band have been designed with grey subdials on blue and an all black version with matching black rubber and deployant buckle.
