Celebrating the 110th anniversary of Seiko watchmaking, a new Presage creation pays homage to Japan’s first wristwatch. The history of Seiko began in 1881 when Kintaro Hattori opened a shop in Ginza to repair and sell timepieces. In 1892, he opened a factory called Seikosha to produce his own clocks. 

This new watch joins the Seiko Prospex Save the Ocean series in support of several different marine conservation initiatives, one of which involves contributions to the National Institute of Polar Research, which is based in Tokyo.
